Volunteers are extremely valuable to Third Street School.  Studies show children do better in school when their parents are involved.  There are many opportunities to help the school community.  Many of our programs are entirely parent-driven, so Friends of Third and the Third Street PTA need help to make these programs a success!

Below are some of the opportunities for parent involvement, as well as the parent coordinator you can contact for more details:

ONGOING NEEDS

• After-School Snack Shop volunteers are needed for approximately one hour after school. Please contact Friends of Third at friendsinfo@friendsofthird.org or leave a note in the FOT mail slot in the Main Office.
• Traffic Volunteers are needed during drop off and pick up times.  Please contact PTA at ptainfo@thirdstreetPTA.org or leave a note in the PTA mail slot in the Main Office.
• Recess and Lunch Volunteers are needed during recess and lunch times. Please contact Sandra Choi, School Coordinator, in the Main Office.
• Photocopy Committee
