PTA is a national organization with local school units whose mission is to provide a powerful voice for children, be a relevant resource for families and communities and a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child. At Third Street Elementary, Friends of Third and the school's PTA team together on a number of initiatives.  Like FOT, PTA is also staffed by volunteers. By participating in the activities of both organizations, you will meet fellow parents united in a common goal.

The PTA at Third Street is a great place to get involved with your child's education. Please feel free to ask questions and participate in as many committees and programs that you would like. All programs benefit your child's education and positive school experience. Working together to support our school, we can make our wonderful school even greater.
