Friends of Third provides funds to guarantee a minimum of two field trips per teacher each year.  The teachers coordinate their own field trips.  Transportation can be by school bus, by private cars driven by parents, or on foot, depending on the trip. A written permission slip from a parent is required before a student can participate in a field trip.

By helping to subsidize the costs of transportation and admission fees, our organization helps broaden the knowledge and horizons of all students in the school.  All children participate in field trips regardless of their family’s ability to donate.
